User Data Deletion
LomiiNews users can request deletion of personal data associated with their account or activity on our website, including data received through Facebook or other social login providers.
Option 1: Remove LomiiNews from Facebook
If you used Facebook login or connected Facebook to LomiiNews, you can remove app access from your Facebook account:
- Open Facebook.
- Go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Open Apps and Websites.
- Find LomiiNews and remove it.
This revokes LomiiNews access to your Facebook data. You can also send us a deletion request using the instructions below.
Option 2: Request Deletion from LomiiNews
To request deletion of your data from LomiiNews, please contact us through the LomiiNews contact page and include the email address or social account used with LomiiNews.
What to Include
- Your full name, if available.
- The email address connected to your LomiiNews account.
- The social login provider used, such as Facebook or Google, if applicable.
- Your Facebook app-scoped user ID, if you have it.
- A short message saying that you want your user data deleted. Example: “Please delete my LomiiNews user data connected through Facebook.”
What We Delete
After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize personal account information and related user data where legally and technically possible. This may include profile information, email address, social login identifiers, access tokens, comments, messages, and other account-related data stored by LomiiNews.
Retention
Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or legitimate recordkeeping purposes. Public content that you submitted for publication may be handled according to editorial, legal, and platform requirements.
Processing Time
We aim to process valid deletion requests within 30 days after verification.
